Virtual Marine Biology Camp

Welcome… and thanks for joining us. During the school shutdowns in March and April due to Covid-19, we decided to launch this (very) informal, impromptu Virtual Marine Biology Camp. We thought it would be fun for a group of us to be able to hang out online and talk about whales and dolphins and other marine life. Oceans Initiative’s scientists, Dr. Erin Ashe and Dr. Rob Williams, streamed live on Facebook and Instagram every Monday and Thursday at 11 a.m. PDT. If you missed an episode, you can watch the videos here.

We are excited to share our souvenir eBook that we created as a companion piece to our Marine Biology Camp video series. This eBook captures the highlights, questions and answers, and cool facts from each of the episodes that we live-streamed on Facebook and Instagram.  Download the eBook here
