Duschka, a Seattle native, is a horseback riding instructor with an MBA in Sustainable Business from Pinchot University.
She and her mother run Brackenhollow Stables, a successful riding school in Redmond, just outside of Seattle, with 14 horses and 75 students. After retiring from upper level competing in 3 Day Eventing she decided to follow her decades long passion for analytics and pursue an MBA. She loves revealing comparative effects and solutions through spreadsheets in particular, from groceries to hay to climate change.
With her equal passion for environmental and social justice, doing an MBA in Sustainable Business at Pinchot was a perfect fit. There she acquired a network of business people in Seattle who are also advocates for environmental and social causes and learned to excel in strategy, entrepreneurship, marketing, and leveraging social networks to build community.
In her free time she enjoys yoga, salsa dancing, skiing, kayaking, singing, and keeping her adorable golden retrievers happy.
