I am a marine ecologist interested in how top marine and terrestrial predators can serve as
sentinel species for gauging the health of a bioregion. I earned my B.S. in Environmental
Science from Scripps College, where I focused on marine ecology, combining hands-on field
research with statistical analysis.

For my undergraduate thesis, I developed statistical models to compare barnacle biomass along the U.S. West Coast, contributing to a better understanding of rocky intertidal ecosystems. My
work has also included studying marine mammal behavior, supporting sustainable fisheries, and
exploring connections between terrestrial and marine ecosystems.

Outside of science, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, drawing, and reading.
